Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates generally to a mounting assembly to secure a cellular phone, tablet, or other electronic device. The mounting assembly has channels that secure the electronic device by the edges, allowing unobstructed access to the touch screen and camera lens of the electronic device, such as a typical cellular phone or tablet. The mounting assembly contains an attachment mechanism that connects to a base and that also provides the ability to adjust the orientation of the electronic device. The mounting assembly allows hands-free operation of the electronic device.
