DETACHABLE TAB FOR A MODULAR BELT LINK

Detachable tab (3, 20, 30)for a modular belt link, characterised in that the tab has upper (11, 12, 13) and lower (14, 15, 16) body portions, wherein:-the upper body portion (11, 12, 13) is suitable to be arranged in a modular conveyor belt module, where said upper body portion (11, 12, 13) comprises a U-shaped section, having two substantially parallel flanges (11, 12), upstanding from a bridge member (13), where the flanges (11, 12) each has a distal end terminating the flange away from the flange's connection to the bridge member (13), and an inner side surface facing the other flange and an outer side surface facing away from the flanges, and where-the lower body portion comprises three distinct sections (14, 15, 16):-a first section (14) connecting a second section to the bridge member (13) of the upper body portion, where said-a second section (15) projecting in a direction opposite and parallel to the flanges of the upper body portion, and a-third section (16) arranged substantially perpendicular to said second section (15).
