Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is directed to a method for inhibiting the overexpression of EZH2 in breast cancer cells. The method comprises administering to breast cancer cells an effective amount of YC-1 (3-(5′-hydroxymethyl-2′-furyl)-1-benzyl indazole), YC-1-succinate (succinic acid mono-[5-(1-benzyl-1H-indazol-3-yl)-furan-2-ylmethyl]ester), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The present invention is also directed to treating breast cancer comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of YC-1-succinate.
