This method includes: scrambling (32) an E-PDCCH including the control information; modulating the E-PDCCH; mapping (34) the E-PDCCH on an allocated PRB; and transmitting (12) the E-PDCCH to the UE (13). The UE (13) communicates over the wireless communications system (10) according to the control information.
