Zusammenfassung:	An image processing method for generating 3D images is disclosed. The image processing method comprises: capturing a first image of a first resolution and a second image of a second resolution, the first image and the second corresponding to a same scene; scaling the first image to a third image in the second resolution; analyzing the third image and the second image to determine an image offset between the third image and the second image; duplicating the first image; applying the image offset to the duplicated first image; and providing the first image and the duplicated first image for displaying on a 3D display unit; wherein the first resolution is higher than the second resolution.
