A beam irradiation position moving unit is configured to translate a mirror by a driving unit to sequentially move the laser light expanded into the ellipse on the surface of an integrator in a minor-axis direction of the ellipse. A reflective liquid crystal device is configured to modulate the laser light. A projection lens is configured to project the laser light modulated by the reflective liquid crystal device.
