Zusammenfassung:	An illumination light source which attaches to a lighting fixture by being rotated in a predetermined rotational direction R, the illumination light source including: a light-emitting unit (LED module), a case which includes a first opening and houses the light-emitting unit; and a translucent cover provided over the first opening, wherein the translucent cover includes a plurality of projecting portions provided at predetermined intervals in the rotational direction R, and the plurality of projecting portions each include a plurality of projections provided at a predetermined distance from each other in the rotational direction R and including a flat surface facing a direction opposite the rotational direction R.
