Zusammenfassung:A chewable tablet comprising Cefixime having a mean particle size between 20μ and 120μ wherein the said composition demonstrates bioequivalence to a suspension of Cefixime trihydrate. The process of preparation of the chewable tablet comprises the steps of optionally micronizing Cefixime such that the mean particle size of the Cefixime particles is between 20μ and 120μ, blending with other excipients, roll compaction, milling to form granules, blending to form a secondary blend and compression of the secondary blend to form tablets.
