Zusammenfassung:	A battery management system has battery cell management devices that correspond to battery modules in which a plurality of battery cells are connected in series, and a battery pack management device that corresponds to a battery pack in which the battery modules are connected in series. Each of the battery cell management devices detects a voltage of each of the battery cells via a first detection line connected to both electrodes of each of the battery cells, and transmits data indicating the voltage to the battery pack management device via a communication line.
