The present invention is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery including a negative electrode and a non-aqueous electrolyte, the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery characterized in that the non-aqueous electrolyte includes lithium bis(oxalato)borate, the negative electrode has a negative electrode core and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the negative electrode core, and the negative electrode active material is graphite particles having a D90/D10 ratio of three or more, D10 being the 10% particle size and D90 being the 90% particle size in a cumulative particle size distribution of the volume standard of the graphite particles.
