Zusammenfassung:Device, system, and method of phone call placement. A method of placing a phone call from a mobile phone includes: receiving a user command to initiate a phone call from said mobile phone using a cellular network; diverting said phone call to be carried by a detected network element of a non-cellular wireless network, instead of by said cellular network; wherein the diverting is based on at least one of: a Media Access Control (MAC) address of a detected network element of said non-cellular wireless network, an Organizationally Unique Identifier (OUI) of a detected network element of said non-cellular wireless network, or a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) account configuration data of a detected network element of said non-cellular wireless network.
