| Zusammenfassung: | A drive method for an electrophoretic display device that has an electrophoretic device composed of a suspension fluid containing electrophoretic particles disposed between a common electrode and pixel electrodes is provided. No holding electrode is necessary. A driver drives the electrophoretic device by applying voltage between the common electrode and the pixel electrodes, and a controller controls the driver. The method involves redrawing the display to change the displayed image by applying to the common electrode pulse trains of different widths, each composed of a first potential and a second potential, at different times, based on certain conditions. |
