Zusammenfassung:	A computerized system and method for determining and mitigating risk associated with student lending. The computer system determines a student quality index score, which provides an assessment of how likely the student, such as a student candidate or current student, is to succeed during school and after graduation. Then, based on the student quality index scores of the students, the computer system determines how to structure the financial aid award packages for each individual student to maximize the financial aid provided to the students and enable the academic institutions to be within the mandated lending regulations.
