Zusammenfassung:	A cargo management system for a vehicle includes a beam assembly that has a first end and a second end. At least one of the ends is biased axially outward and compressible axially inward. Each of the ends has a common interface configured to be supportable by the opposing side walls of the vehicle so that the beam assembly is supported at both of the first and second ends by the walls and extends over a floor of a vehicle, with said at least one of the ends compressed axially inward. The beam assembly can be used as a bed divider, to provide two-tier loading, and as a ladder rack.
