Zusammenfassung:Embodiments of the invention provide methods and apparatus for a handling system and attachment of a secondary elevator, and/or other complementary equipment, to a primary elevator. In one embodiment, a casing elevator is provided. The casing elevator includes a body, two first load-rated lift members coupled to a perimeter of the body at a first location on the body, and two second load-rated lift members coupled to the perimeter of the body at a second location on the body, the second location being different than the first location.
