The rope according to the invention is characterized in that the titre of at least part of the twisted yarns, preferably of all the twisted yarns, is in each case at most 5000 dtex, and that the twist rate of at least part of the twisted yarns, preferably of all the twisted yarns, is in each case at least 150 T/m.
