Zusammenfassung:	An electronic device including a connector. The connector includes a housing defining a cavity for receiving a mating connector. The housing includes a contact support member. The connector also includes contacts supported by the contact support member, the contacts including protruding portions that protrude outside of the cavity. The connector may also include a shielding element disposed over the protruding portion of at least some of the contacts. A moisture sealant may be disposed within a gap located between the contacts and the shielding element. In one embodiment, a cap may be provided between the housing and the shielding. The cap and the housing may each include an aperture for viewing a moisture indicator, and at least one of the cap and the housing may include cutouts for holding a transparent element.
