Zusammenfassung:	An air conditioning system for an aircraft includes at least one air conditioning pack which for the purpose of heat dissipation can be connected to at least one cooling air inlet of the aircraft and is designed to cool air and to introduce it at a cabin pressure into a passenger cabin of the aircraft. A separately operable cooling device is designed to cool the ambient air flowing into the cooling air inlet.
