The method comprises: providing a light-emitting wafer having an orientation flat portion and comprises a substrate and a light-emitting stack formed on the substrate; forming a first line along a direction which is neither parallel nor perpendicular to the orientation flat portion; forming a second line intersecting with the first scribe line; and separating the light-emitting wafer along the first and second lines to form a plurality of light-emitting chips.
