Zusammenfassung:	In a fastener stringer, a continuous fastener element includes a plurality of fine projections disposed on a circumferential surface of a monofilament continuously along a length direction of the monofilament. Moreover, at least the projections disposed on the upper and lower leg parts are twisted with respect to an extension direction of the upper and lower leg parts, and a plurality of the projections disposed on the upper leg part or the lower leg part a twisted state face the same direction. Due to this, a larger number of projections can appear on an exposed surface of the fastener element, light can be diffused and reflected from these projections, and the luster of the monofilament can be stably reduced or removed. Moreover, it is possible to prevent the strength of the monofilament from locally decreasing and to prevent deterioration of the operability of a slider.
