[Problem to be Solved] To provide a portable terminal device which can improve the interest, functionality and additional value by display even when the two display modules are in the state of being overlapped. [Solution] A portable terminal device 100 includes a first unit 10 which has a first display module 13, and is configured such that a user is allowed to see a side of the first unit 10 opposite to a user's side through the first display module 13, a second unit 20 which has a second display module 25, and a switching module 12 and 27a which is operable to switch the portable terminal device 100 between a first configuration that the first unit 10 covers the second display module 25, and a second configuration that the first unit 10 is moved from the first configuration with respect to the second display module 25 so that at least a part of the second display module 25 is exposed to an outside.
