Zusammenfassung:A method is provided for generating ultrasounds in a given fluid by using at least one micro-machined capacitive transducer having a membrane and exhibiting a predetermined resonant frequency defined by the membrane-fluid pair, the at least one transducer is fed with an excitation signal of lower frequency than the resonant frequency. A device is provided for generating ultrasounds implementing CMUTs, as well as a method and system for medical imaging.
