| Zusammenfassung: | An automated blood analyzer that analyzes blood of a living being including one or more sample carriers that hold samples of blood of a living being, each sample having been withdrawn from the living being at a different point in time after the living being was injected with radio-labeled albumin, means for calculating a set of data points representing blood volume of the living being at the one or more points in time after the living being was injected with the radio-labeled albumin based on detected counts of the radio-labeled albumin in the samples of blood, wherein the automated blood analyzer uses the set of data points for further analysis of the blood of the living being, and a quality control module that at least one of calibrates the means for calculating or verifies that the means for calculating operates within predetermined parameters. |
