Zusammenfassung:	A method for warning of an object in the surroundings of a vehicle. The method includes the following steps of detecting a position of the object in a detection region in the surroundings of the vehicle, the detection region being a region in the surroundings of the vehicle and being adjacent to a driving track region of the vehicle, the driving track region being a region through which the vehicle will drive, in particular within a predetermined time span, determining a motion of the object on the basis of multiple detected positions of the object, and signaling when a determination is made that the object in the detection region is moving.
