The device includes an image information generation unit configured to generate image information of contents reproduced in a different device, an image information transmission unit configured to transmit the generated image information to a seamless service providing server and a display history information management unit configured to control the apparatus based on the received display history information which is received from the seamless service providing server. Here, the display history information corresponds to the transmitted image information.
