Zusammenfassung:Embodiments of the present invention provide a handover method and apparatus in an access point network. The method includes: determining, by a source access point, that a handover is needed; obtaining, by the source access point, IP address information of a target access point; setting up, by the source access point, an Iur link with the target access point according to the IP address information; instructing, by the source access point, the target access point to set up a radio link between the target access point and a user equipment; and deleting, by the source access point, a radio link between the source access point and the user equipment.
