Zusammenfassung:A mobile device with a touch screen and a method for controlling digital broadcasts according to touch events that occur in the device includes: outputting broadcast data in a digital broadcast mode; tracking, when a touch event occurs during the output of the broadcast data, the movement of the touch event; identifying control-stroke information regarding a stroke of the tracked touch event; and performing a function corresponding to the identified control-stroke information. The mobile device can perform a variety of functions according to the movement of touch events sensed by the touch screen while outputting broadcast data.
