According to various embodiments, the frame assembly includes a connector apparatus comprising one or more connector members configured for securing two or more of the frame assembly's frame members together in an assembled state. In particular, various embodiments of the connector apparatus are configured for safely maintaining the frame assembly in an assembled state, enabling convenient assembly of the frame assembly by a user, and preventing inadvertent or accidental disassembly of the frame assembly.
