Zusammenfassung:	A method is implemented in a computing system for controlling the application of special effects to a video stream. The method comprises identifying applications requesting access to the video stream and retrieving identifiers associated with each of the applications requesting access. Based on the identifiers, a query operation is performed to obtain information relating to the applications. The method further comprises receiving a selection of one or more applications associated with the identifiers. Based on the selection, a version of the video stream is routed to each application.
