Zusammenfassung:	A liquid crystal display device (1) comprises a liquid crystal panel (2) and a support frame (4) encompassing the edge of the liquid crystal panel (2). The lower side portion (41) of the support frame (4) includes a support portion (41b) on which the lower edge (2a) of the liquid crystal panel (2) is placed. The lower edge (2a) of the liquid crystal panel (2) is adhered on the upper surface of the support portion (41b). With the above, occurrence of irregular color due to distortion of the liquid crystal panel is able to be reduced.
