Zusammenfassung:	A method for power control in geo-tagging in a mobile terminal includes: searching for whether serving base station information periodically transmitted from a serving base station, which is currently connected with the mobile terminal, exists in a plurality of pieces of pre-stored image metadata when a camera driving is requested; photographing a subject, and simultaneously driving a location information module when serving base station information does not exist as a result of the search; and storing location information acquired through the location information module in metadata of a photographed image, and mapping the serving base station information to the metadata.
