Zusammenfassung:	In a method for operating a hybrid drive system having multiple drive units each having a drive motor and a motor control unit, the motor control units are activatable in order to request partial drive torques from the drive units according to a drive strategy. At least one of the motor control units is configured to execute an adaptation function when an adaptation function condition is present. The drive strategy is selected as a function of a frequency of an execution of the adaptation function in the motor control unit.
