Zusammenfassung:	A production method is provided for the preparation of small polymer microcapsules with an oil core and solid microspheres, containing high amounts of biocide by internal phase separation from emulsion droplets with ethyl acetate as a solvent. The size of the microcapsules and microspheres can be controlled with a high degree of accuracy between 0.2-20 micrometers in diameter. The microparticles are particularly well suited for coatings such as paints, lacquers and wood preservatives which are to be protected against microorganisms using biocides, as well as for surface protection directly, i.e. without combining the microparticles with a coating material.
