Zusammenfassung:	Methods and apparatus for device applet management on smart cards. A method includes obtaining device applets at a first device, generating a directory structure that identifies platform types and corresponding device applets, and storing the device applets in the directory structure on a smart card so that when the smart card is in communication with a second device supporting a selected platform, device applets associated with the selected platform are accessible to the second device. An apparatus includes a transceiver to obtain device applets at a first device, and a processor generate a directory structure that identifies platform types and corresponding device applets, and stores the device applets in the directory structure on a smart card so that when the smart card is in communication with a second device supporting a selected platform, device applets associated with the selected platform are accessible to the second device.
