Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a medical sealing device (1) for the sealing of a puncture hole in a vessel wall, and comprises an inner member (2), which is adapted to be positioned at an interior surface of the vessel wall, and an outer member (3), which is adapted to be positioned outside the vessel wall, the inner member (2) and the outer member (3) being held together by a retaining member (4), wherein at least one of said inner member (2), outer member (3) and retaining member (4) is made from at least one shape memory polymer.
