Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a novel composition comprising at least one polyphthalamide reactively extruded with at least one other polyamide, a polyester, and a modifier. The composition can be further modified with fillers to add increased strength. Other additives such as colorants, flame retardants, and UV degradation inhibitors are also contemplated. This composition exhibits superior barrier to organic vapors, impact strength and heat distortion temperatures. Also disclosed are articles using this novel composition such as fuel tanks for gasoline engines used to power lawn mowers and garden machinery.
