Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a polarizer and a display device, which can be easily produced and made thinner, and production methods thereof. The polarizer of the present invention relates to a polarizer including a polarizing film, wherein the polarizer further includes: a first adhesion layer which is formed of a cured adhesive and is laminated on one of main faces of the polarizing film, and a first protective layer which is laminated on a main face of the first adhesion layer on the side opposite to the polarizing film and has easy peelability at least in the main face thereof at the side of the first adhesion layer.
