Zusammenfassung:	An optical arrangement comprises a light guide and a light source for illuminating the light guide. The light guide comprises a transparent substrate layer and a transparent layer. The light guide has a light extraction surface on a surface of the substrate layer. The transparent layer is arranged on the surface of the substrate layer opposite to the light extraction surface, or the transparent layer is arranged on the light extraction surface of the substrate layer. The transparent layer contains means for improving light extraction. Further, a method for production a light guide is provided.
