Zusammenfassung:A method and system for maintaining data recoverability of a computer system coupled to a storage device storing data objects includes identifying at least one recoverability parameter associated with the storage device. A recoverability index is calculated based on a recoverability parameter. The recoverability index may reflect the recoverability of the computer system from data loss. The recoverability index may be continuously calculated and evaluated. Recoverability actions, such as performing a backup operation, may be performed in response to a value associated with the recoverability index.
