Zusammenfassung:	A programmable device employs an address and data corruption logic for data written to a memory. A first signature is computed from the data stored in the memory and the address at which it is stored. The signature is stored with the data in the memory. When data is read from the memory, the first signature stored in the memory is also read and compared with a second signature computed from the data read from the memory and the address from which it is read. If the first and second signatures do not match, an error condition is indicated.
