Zusammenfassung:An image processing apparatus decodes a coded stream to obtain pixel data, and decides a filter coefficient for each pixel data. The filter coefficient is used for filtering of the pixel data by multiplying the pixel data and pixel data located around the pixel data by filter coefficients, respectively and adding multiplication results. The image processing apparatus determines effectiveness of adaptive control of the filter coefficient to be used in the filtering, and outputs adaptively controlled filter coefficient if the effectiveness is high, or outputs the filter coefficient, which is not adaptively controlled, if the effectiveness is not high.
