Zusammenfassung:To enhance user interaction with voicemail messages and information that may be displayed for the voicemail messages, the present disclosure describes an improved approach to delivering voicemail messages to an electronic device, such as a mobile telephone. In one embodiment, the voicemail message is packaged into a multimedia message that is transmitted to the mobile telephone. The multimedia message may contain information that identifies the multimedia message as containing voicemail message data, such as an extension header and/or a scripted subject field.
