Zusammenfassung:A method of inducing a substrate transport fault in an image forming apparatus having a substrate transport assembly includes prompting a user to provide one or more substrate transport fault conditions, starting an image forming job, and inducing a substrate transport fault during the image forming job in accordance with the one or more fault conditions. An image forming machine is described having a substrate transport assembly for moving substrate sheets through the image forming apparatus for forming images thereon, a User Interface for prompting a user to provide one or more substrate transport fault conditions, and a controller for inducing a substrate transport fault in the image forming apparatus in accordance with the one or more substrate transport fault conditions.
