Zusammenfassung:	Laminate containing a first layer and a second layer attached to the first layer, said second layer comprising high tenacity yarns, characterized in that the first layer is made out of a material selected out of the group consisting of a metal, a plywood, a solid thermoplastic or thermosetting polymer, and a composite material containing carbon fibers and/or glass fibers, and the high tenacity yarns have a tenacity of at least 0.5 GPa and are positioned in a grid structure. The laminate is damage resistance and is suitably used for the manufacture of air freight containers.
