The virtual keyboard may be created such that it is larger than the screen size of the portable electronic device. The virtual keyboard may be moved or slid across the screen to gain access to the keys thereon. Movement of the portable electronic device may be used to cause a corresponding movement of the virtual keyboard. The movement of the portable electronic device may be measured through the use of accelerometer data. The virtual keyboard may be configured by the user of the portable electronic device. |
