Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a gaming system and to a method of gaming. A game controller is arranged to select a plurality of symbols from a set of symbols for play of a game and to control the display to display a plurality of the selected symbols at symbol positions in rows and columns forming an initial matrix of symbol combinations determining initial game outcomes. The game controller is arranged to advance at least one of the rows and columns of symbol positions to form further symbol combinations for determining game outcomes. Where a gaming system has a limited display area, this can allow further combinations of symbols to be determined for determining game outcomes, not limited by the available display area.
