Zusammenfassung:An insulin pump configuration programming approach is disclosed that permits setting parameters of pump configuration files to invalid values. An operator may continue with the programming workflow after setting the invalid value. The configuration file including the invalid value may be saved to a memory location of a computing device, but cannot be saved to the pump. Invalid item icons are presented when a parameter is set to an invalid value, and instructions for correcting the invalidity condition are provided when an invalid item icon is hovered over using a pointing device.
