Zusammenfassung:	Delivery devices of a degradable or nondegradable biocompatible matrix with one or more encapsulated active pharmaceutical ingredients or one or more particle-bound active pharmaceutical ingredients dispersed in the matrix are provided. Also provided are methods for delivering an active pharmaceutical ingredient to a subject with these delivery devices. Modified vaginal rings are also provided as well as surface coatings for delivery devices which minimize bio-interaction of the coated delivery devices.
