Zusammenfassung:	A method for treating and/or preventing BPH prostatitis, alopecia and hirsutism including administering a medication of the pharmaceutical composition obtained from the green or mature fruits of Roystonea regia including a mixture of primary fatty acids with 8 to 28 carbon atoms, the fatty acid selected from the group consisting of caprilic acid (C8:0), capric acid (C10:0), lauric acid (C12:0), miristic acid (C14:0), palmitic acid (C16:0), palmitoleic acid (C16:1), stearic acid (C18:0), oleic acid (C18:1), linoleic acid, and linolenic acid and a mixture of esters of the fatty acids, and free fatty acids are enriched from ester hydrolysis.
