Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a commutator with contact segments, arranged at a distance from each other and forming a brush running surface. Each contact segment is soldered to a securing portion of a metal segment support piece. The commutator has a hub body made from an electrically insulating material which supports the segment support pieces which are each provided with a winding connector hook. According to the invention, at least one solder barrier recess is provided in the upper side of the securing portion facing the contact segment and/or in the under side of the contact segment facing the securing portion.
